Black Myth: WuKong 2024 - tổng hợp

(PC) Black Myth: Wukong Review *10 MINUTES* Gameplay [4K 60FPS]

Check nhẹ:

 Game play

  • Some reviewers say the game takes about 30-40 hours to finish only the main story. Some Chinese reviewers say if you cut your internet and explore yourself and try to 100% the game, it would take you at least 90 hours.
Graphic

  • There is nothing to say, it is just outstanding! You guys will see it yourself soon. Even some rage reviewers give the game a low score like some Rant admits it has some exceptional visuals.

  • A reviewer first time appreciates the in-game screeshot function is useful and much needed.

    Map

  • Some Chinese reviewers says the maps are just HUGE(This is very important to notice guys, a reviewer says the maps after the second chapter is getting insane, is getting much much bigger )! Devs doesn't care about wasting resources on making maps. Some maps are even just being hidden. (I bet most reviewers don't even know their exist)

  • There are some invisable walls, A reviewer says the developers sacrificed a lot to make the game's scenery realistic. They didn't differentiate the distant landscapes, so you will never tell if a path is a dead end (an invisible wall) or leads to something valuable until you actually try yourself.

  • Pretty linear, but you will get lost in it for sure. I think that's why some rage reviewers say the game getting repetitive and lack of diversity. Because she got lost in the map and rage quit. (Imagine you got lost in a forest, you can only see trees and trees.)

  • A lot of hidden things, a reviewer spent a whole afternoon to explore a map, after finishing it he checked the ingame diary he noticed he missed 50% of the content.

  • There are some little level design problems. The reviewers didn't mention much about this, I don't know what kind of problems are.

  • Exploration is always rewarding. (* A reviewer say exploration is super important)

  • A reviewer mentioned if you see something weird, that means you haven't figured it out yet, there is always some reasons for an item to be there.
Audio/Soundtrack

  • Chinese reviewers got very, extremely excited when talking about the soundtrack. They say the audio is helping the player.

  • They say sometimes it's hard to dodge some attacks because of some visual problems (I assume it's like 2nd phase promised consort Radahn) Instead it is much easier to dodge it when you hear the boss say some special words.

  • Audio is more focus on your situation instead of boss.

  • Even some small mobs have special audio when you kill them. And audio for picking up some items.

  • A reviewer complained the audio might cut in the middle and switch to others randomly.
Mechanic

  • You can reset your skills trees any time at free. Chinese reviewers were joking about this. Devs made this free because they are showing you mercy, they don't want players to spend more time on those tiny things, because the game is just too BIG not like other games you need to grind a little bit to reset your skill trees to increase the playing time, this game is different, just feel free to reset your skill trees and try to fight as many boss as possible.

  • There is no penalty on Death! Feel free to die.

  • Difficulty is just about average, not too hard, not too easy, those reviewers still don't believe how they balance those things so perfectly.

  • Some bosses have quick attacks and delays (or drags maybe?)

  • If you push the joystick a little bit to walk and the boss can do the same, so two of you walk slowly around.

  • Most of the time when you drink potions (or flasks whatever you call it) the boss doesn't attack, one reviewer says devs do this not for showing you mercy but the boss has so many other skills to kill you, just let you drink you will ultimately being grounded.

  • There are some mobs jump scare. (hidden in the corner a suppose)

  • No repetitives, even a same looking boss has different skills you second time you see it, and they have the same looking because it says in the story of Journey to the West.

  • There are some other in-game mechanics but I don't want to spoil it, just explore it yourself in game.
Performance issues

  • Some reviewers say they had crashes, some say they didn't have any.

  • Some reviewers say some scenes (boss fights) are just absolutely chaotic, there are so many things happening, you better select a lower settings. Other than that the frame rates are stable.

  • Devs actually tell you in settings which settings have more impact on the performance.

  • A Polish reviewer figured it out some crashes are casued by transalation problems.
Story

  • If you are familiar with the story Journey to the West, you probably have no trouble to understand the story. If you don't, like the reviewer from IGN who doesn't know who Zhu Ba Jie is, you 90% having trouble to understand it.

  • There is a in-game diary thing records a lot of information, if you don't know the relationships between you and thay guy, feel free to read it yourself.

  • A Chineses reviewer says the game is based on a fraction of the story Journey to the West, it's not possible to make a game based on the whole story, because it's too big (long).
Translation problems

  • There are some translation problems as shown by many videos. Some in-game texts are Chinese instead of other languages.

  • Some of the in-game conversations are spoken as ancient Chinese language. To those who don't know, ancient Chinese language is always in short form, a few words contain lots of information. It is supper hard to translate them into other languages. A Chinese reviewer says in the game he heard two sentences, but they delivered lots of important information which can only be understood by those who familiar with the story and understand those ancient Chinese sayings.

  • Players don't understand Chinese probably couldn't get the original meaning sometimes and missing maybe 20% of the game play.
Overall

  • There is a Chinese girl reviewer mentioned although there are some fruastrated moments (I think she lost her saving files or progress??? Because she suggests to back up your saving files very often) when she plays, the game's pros outweighs its cons, just enjoy the game if you like it, definitely worth it.

  • Most Chinese reviewers give it at least 90 out of 100, average score on Metacritics is 82.

  • I believe most cons on Metacritics are performance issues, translations, don't understand the stories. (we don't mention about those rediculous ones such as lack of diversity, inclusivity because they are either not gamers like us or didn't finish the game)

  • A few words from me, to those don't know chinese or the story Journey to the West, just enjoy the gameplay, try your best to understand the story. I'm on eldenring NG+4, Sekiro NG+4, I still have no ideas about the stories, all I know are some NPCs' names. When I play Dark souls 1 & 3, I have no clue what NPCs were talking about or trying to say, what I did was just explore everywhere I can and kill everything that I can lock on, I believe that's what most players do. When I play God of War 4, I have no ideas about those different Gods' names, I just do what I was told to do, solve some puzzles and kill everything that blocks me from progressing (some of them are repetitive). I still manage to beat the game with 0 knowledge about what's happening in the game, who is trying to be bad, why we hate that guy so much and trying to kill him so bad.

  • Finally, if you got hyped by the game, let's just enjoy the game, no need to hesitate.
